Educate Hearts Teaching Corps
Educate Hearts Teaching Corps (EHTC) is a TEA-recognized alternative teacher certification program based in Houston, Texas. Founded by a passionate team of educators and professionals from diverse backgrounds, we believe education holds the power to transform lives and communities. We believe education is a catalyst for positive change. That is why we equip aspiring teachers with the tools, training, and support they need to lead highly engaged classrooms, where high academic achievement is expected of all students, regardless of background. Rooted in a vision of liberation through education, our work prepares educators to teach with purpose, lead with empathy, and empower students to thrive in and beyond the classroom.
STEAMQuest
STEAMQuest, a K–12 student enrichment initiative of Educate Hearts Teaching Corps (EHTC), complements our mission to prepare transformative educators by engaging students in real-world learning experiences. Through an integrated focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Advocacy, and Mathematics (STEAM), the program sparks curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking—empowering young learners to lead and innovate in their communities.

Research Collaboration
Educate Hearts Teaching Corps engages in collaborative research that advances equitable, community-based approaches to teacher preparation and student success. We partner with scholars, institutions, and organizations to study educator development, certification pathways, and the impact of liberatory teaching practices. Our goal is to generate actionable knowledge that informs policy, improves practice, and uplifts historically underserved communities.

School Partnerships
Educate Hearts Teaching Corps partners with public, charter, and private schools to strengthen educator pipelines and improve student outcomes. We work closely with district leaders and campus administrators to provide certification pathways for instructional staff, align training with local needs, and place well-prepared teacher candidates in classrooms. Our partnerships are rooted in a shared commitment to academic excellence, equity, and community impact. If your school or district is interested in partnering with EHTC, we would love to connect.
